In order to best serve the mission of the New England Tactical Officers Association the Board or Directors will select active members from the member States to act as a State Representative.  Each State will be broken down by an identified area.  The State Representative will work with the Executive Director to provide training, support and information to their respective area.

State Representatives will be responsible for initiating and maintaining communication with law enforcement Tactical agencies in their local jurisdictions to ensure they are advised of current and upcoming training opportunities; to determine if they are interested in hosting NETOA training classes and encourage participation in the annual training conference.

State Representatives will maintain contact with the training coordinator at the local police departments to keep them advised of training opportunities in the area.  State Representatives will attend State tactical basic training programs or tactical training programs to inform new members about NETOA and its programs.
